I am a beginner, so i am just wondering if these are good ,reliable, sturdy, beginner guitars.

Oh, and if there are any good sturdy reliable beginner guitars you can find me links to, i would be super pleased. looking to by my first electric guitar and i want a good one! remember, must be cheap

ALSO looking for a really cheap amp, nothing fancy, just to bedroom practice with!

these are all pretty good guitars…A good mag is” Guitar for the practicing musician”

The best beginner’s guitar IMO is probably a Squier. But those are OK, too. Usually a beginner’s guitar is a beginner’s guitar just because it’s inexpensive enough for a beginner to afford. Just be sure to get something that fits your hand correctly.

A good practice amp is the Pocket Rockit, a headphone amp.

well for a beginner, i would probably get the first one the ibanez. or get the starter packs. that come with the amps. i stilll have mine, although the amp sucks ass, just whatever works dude. if you love it, you;ll invest in a better one if you find that its for you

I probably can’t help you, because I’m old style (way back) acoustic. But I did play a friend’s Jackson, and it’s worth taking for a test drive again.

It’s all in the action at this point.

Get a neck that fits your hands, and you’ll do well. It’s a “feel” sort of thing. I don’t suggest Internet purchases. It’s best to kick the tires.

Good luck, enjoy the art, and be excellent.

(Sorry, I’m an old tube-amp guy. Have been unhappy with modern surface-mount dependability….Go for the cheap modern practice amps cuz we old guy’s won’t let our Virbo-Champs go….even though they don’t distort as well….)

For a beginner, I would suggest you but the Squier Strat Pack. You get a pretty nice Fender along with a practice amp, cord, strap and some picks. Although inexpensive, you still get the Fender name along with everything you need to get started. Gibson/Baldwin also has a beginner pack with a Les Paul or SG model.

The Japanese or Mexican Strats are good inexpensive options. And of the guitars you’ve mentioned, probably better ones. Bottom line is a Fender Strat is the gold standard for rock and roll. (OK Gibson fans, it’s at least a photo finish between a Strat and a Les Paul)

I dont think you will get a bad guitar out of that bunch, but I’d suggest the Strat pack some others have suggested.

I’d spend lil’ extra and get a decent guitar. Dont buy packages, the amps are always garbage. I recommend a Squier, Epiphone, or ESP.
For amps, either Roland Cube, Spider, or Vox

If you buy a cheap guitar and amp, it will sound like crap and you wont enjoy it as much. Save up and plan to spend around $400-500. it’ll be worth it.
