What’s the best beginner electric guitar package?

I’ve never played guitar before and I’d like to try to teach myself. What is the best package for beginners, that includes everything I need to get started? I have been looking at some Ibanez packages, any suggestions?

I’d go with a Squire guitar. They’re made by Fender and they’re pretty much the same… just cheaper. You can play everything with a stratocaster. Go on their website and check out what they have and see if you like anything. Good luck

There is no good starter package. Squier is junk, forget the first guy. Buy a good Ibanez guitar and a good Line 6, Randall, Hughes & Kettner or Crate amp & rock on. Or go to Carvin.com and buy everythiing there – it’s pricey, but beats any Gibson, Fender, PRS, Zemaitis, etc., on any day.

Forget about the first two guys. ESP is the best. All the big bands play ESP and Marshall amps. So if you wanna move to Hollywood one day and get all the girls, you need to stick with ESP…

Go on Music123.com you can select a price range on the guitar, amp and distortion, and read ratings for the best choices within the price range.
I bought my guitar there and it was nicely discounted and a very good quality instrument. Good luck and have fun playing!!
